25% of the year is already gone- are you on track?

Can you believe that we are already into April? Last Thursday marked the 25% point of the year.

The clock is ticking, and it’s only going to get faster from here- we're already three months into 2022! I hope you're on track with those goals for 2022 at the start of this year.

I know how hard it is to stay motivated when things seem tough, but being successful isn't about what happens in front or behind me; instead focus should be where we want our lives headed- upward toward success!

Did you hit your Q1 targets?

Did you hit your Q1 targets?

  • If your goal was to create 15 new clients – did you?
  • If your goal was to increase your monthly revenues to hit a specific number, did you?
  • Perhaps you were looking to free up more time to spend that time with those who matter to you, have you?

If you did, well done! But don't rest on your laurels! Keep up this momentum until your end of year target, and we'll be well on track for another successful quarter ahead.

If you did not achieve your first quarter's goals then, don't fret. Block time to review where you might have dropped the ball and then refocus!

You can REDO your New Years’ Goals right now and start fresh with a clean slate, rather than continuing down an unproductive path only to realise too late what could have been accomplished.

Come on, let’s do this! I'm giving you a break – but don't waste another second.

  • If your goal is 36 new members this quarter – start today
  • If your goal is generating an additional £/$/€3k per month – start today
  • If your goal is (insert anything here) – start TODAY!

25% of this year is gone forever. Will you make changes TODAY or will another 25% pass, then another 25%.

I’ve always been fascinated by how people can lie to each other and themselves. The truth of the matter is, when I asked them if things are going well for their gym or PT Studio – they'd tell me that it's doing great!

I had one such experience recently where I met an old friend of mine who is a Studio Owner — he told me all about his life as well...but there were some details he left out on purpose ( Details another time ).

He said everything else has been going smoothly: no problems with client retention or any financial woes whatsoever; just lotsa work-long hours at this profession which requires tons of love, passion and commitment.

However, very few people actually measure and take stock of their efforts. If you are following a plan to generate clients – are you actually increasing the number of clients you have?

Or are you blindly following a plan that doesn’t work, and essentially ignoring that?

I know where my progress toward my goals stands because I measure it.

When I implement a marketing campaign (either for my own business or for one of my clients) — I track the results. I know exactly how effective the plan is, and whether the return being generated is worth the investment.

I can see that for X amount invested, I receive a return of Y.

As a gym or Studio Owner, you need to know where your membership stands – how many leads you are generating each week, how many new members you sign up, how many clients are renewing, etc and when the busiest times in your calendar are – everything should be measured and tracked so you can continue to grow and serve your members.

SMART

If you remember “SMART” goal setting — one of the keys is ‘M’ – Measurable. Measure your results.

The time to evaluate our progress is when things feel like they're getting out of hand.

The second quarter brings with it a sense that all may not yet be lost; you can take stock then and see how valuable your efforts have been so far, or whether there's anything left for you do before Q3 rolls around

Will you make changes TODAY or will another three months pass?

Don’t waste a single second. Start TODAY.

Will your business demonstrate 12 weeks of further growth – will you be 12 weeks closer to your goals?

The time will pass anyway….

Share your 12-month goals here and let’s make it happen!
